Housewarming & Opening Seal

A seal for a beginning: a new home, a new studio, a new business.

Rather than carving a name, we choose a short auspicious phrase suited to the occasion — four characters at most — and explain what it means. You approve the wording before we carve.

Choose the format and material: a clean standing block or a traditional knob, made in black resin or natural soapstone. Resin is the most economical; soapstone gives the weight and individual grain of a traditional stone seal. Most customers choose the standing block in black resin.

What you receive: one carved seal, a shallow dish of water-based ink, a test impression, and a card with the phrase and its meaning in English.

Material notes: natural stone colour and grain vary by piece, and wood grain varies as well. We select the closest available stock rather than promising one exact pattern.

Use note: this is a decorative personal seal. It is not a legally registered company chop, signature seal or official stamp. It may not be used for contracts, banking, company registration or legal filings.
