Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Jingsheng collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller for the information described here.

1. What we collect

  • Order and contact details — name, email address, delivery address and phone number where you give one.
  • Customisation details — the name, wording, dates, preferences and notes you send us so we can make your piece. This can include personal information about a third party if you are ordering a gift; please make sure you have their permission.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by PayPal. We receive confirmation and the last few digits, but we never see or store your card number.
  • Messages — anything you send us by email or through the site.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we use it

To make and deliver your order; to keep you informed about it; to answer your questions; to prevent fraud; to meet our legal and tax obligations; and, where you have opted in, to send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.

3. Our legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (making and delivering your order), legal obligation (tax and accounting), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement), and consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies).

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with: PayPal (payment processing), carriers and postal services (delivery), our email provider (order and service messages), and analytics providers where you have consented. We do not sell your data.

5. Where it goes

We operate from China and use providers that may store data in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require (typically six years). Customisation drafts are kept for 12 months so we can reproduce a piece if needed. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address in the footer. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the shop, and analytics cookies only after you agree. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (TLS) throughout and restrict access to order data. No system is perfect; if we ever suffer a breach affecting your rights, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required.

10. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here. Questions, or a request about your data? Write to us at the address in the footer.
