A Chinese name is not a transliteration. It is a small decision with a long tail: it is the thing a teacher writes on a form, a friend types into a phone, a grandmother repeats to get the tones right.
We start from how your name sounds, then look for characters that carry a meaning you would actually want attached to you. Most names end up at two characters. We avoid the ones that sound elegant in Chinese but awkward when spoken aloud, and we avoid characters so rare that you would spend the rest of your life explaining them.
What you receive: a PDF with two candidate names, each broken down character by character, with pinyin, tones, stroke counts, and a one-sentence meaning you can quote directly. Choose one, and we finish the name.
What this does not include: calligraphy or artwork. If you want the name written out, choose the Name & Meaning Card or the Digital Calligraphy instead — both build on this same naming work.
